Choose two 4-hour courses from the list below. The second digit in the course number must be a four. Additionally, please choose two 3-hour in the same language from the list below.
Third digit of a course number determines instrument:

Other instrumental lessons may be available depending on demand.

The following requirements are an example of fulfillment of the applied lessons requirement if student's primary instrument is piano.
Requires concurrent enrollment in course - Piano Level VII: Sophomore Barrier for Piano.
Choose three (3) cumulative credit hours of applied lessons in another instrument or composition.
MUSI 11XX or 12XX
MUSI 21XX or 22XX
Must be in Patriot Chorus (Tenor/Bass) or Liberty Chorus (Treble) for eight semesters, including 4 upper-level hours.
8 semesters (noncredit-hour requirement).
A 120-credit-hour minimum for a bachelor's degree is required, including 36 upper-level credit hours.
At least 12 credit hours in the major program must be completed at Dallas Baptist University, including nine upper-level course hours.
Minimum GPA Required for Graduation from Dallas Baptist University: DBU requires a minimum institutional cumulative, major, and minor GPA of 2.0.
A minimum grade of C- is required for all music courses within a music major field of study.
