Description
A skill-building course in sightsinging and ear-training, to include solfege singing of major and minor melodies in both simple and compound meters, aural and rhythmic reading exercises, and melodic and harmonic dictation.
Prerequisite
MUSI 1100 or a passing score on the Music Theory Placement Exam - Must be completed prior to taking this course. MUSI 1311 - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
