Description
Color and Composition is a painting course that explores the potentials of painting in acrylics with emphasis on color, composition, expression, and technique as it relates to poster painting as it has been manifested over the past two centuries. The techniques of German 'plakatstil' or hard-edged 'poster style' causes each student to break down the compositional surface of a painting so that eye flow is deliberate. The rule of thirds, balance, and visual hierarchy are also addressed. Additional course fee.
