Description
This course is an introduction of Spanish linguistics and establishes the basis for the application of linguistic principles. The content will include an overview of linguistic rules with a focus on Spanish phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and dilectology. This course contains a field-based service-learning component.
Prerequisite
Any 3000-level SPAN course or equivalent.
