Students will participate in a collaboratively developed, field-based internship experience in district level school leadership. These experiences are under the joint supervision of a district level leader and a university professor. Activities and experiences will align with the Texas State Board for Educator Certification standards, domains, and competencies. It is the student's responsibility to select and secure an appropriate site-supervisor with the required certification and years of experience. This course contains a field-based service-learning component. (Course may be taken multiple times for credit. The first attempt grade will be applied to the transcript and GPA. If the class is repeated for additional credit, it should be taken as the PT version of the course, and will be applied to the transcript as a CR/NC grade.)
