This course provides students with the essential knowledge of big data, the framework of business analytics, and its business applications. It covers the data preparation and handling procedures, various statistical techniques for data analysis, simulation and model building for business, and applications for business analytics. It focuses on decision-making optimization and scientific problem solving in different business fields and across disciplines to harness the concepts, techniques, and tools needed to transform data into a valuable catalyst for business growth. (This course is AGP-eligible).
